SYLLABUSES

There are separate adult and junior belt syllabuses. The adult version contains more techniques at each level and at times, uses finishes that are not suitable for the juniors.
Below brown belt, the assessments are generally held at the local club and are conducted by the club sensei. For brown and black belt, however, the assessments will be performed in front of a panel of sensei and may take place at a different venue.

Assessments only take place once the club sensei considers that the student has reached the required standard.
