Kyushin Ryu Ju Jitsu Association Awarded the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts
Kyushin Ryu Ju Jitsu Association is delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts, in recognition of our continued commitment to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for everyone who trains with us.
The Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts, supported by Sport England, celebrates organisations that put the welfare of their members first. This award highlights our dedication to ensuring that children, young people and vulnerable adults can enjoy Ju Jitsu with confidence, knowing their wellbeing is always our top priority.
We have clear safeguarding policies, strong reporting procedures, and a culture built on respect, trust and personal growth. Our instructors and volunteers undertake regular safeguarding training, helping us maintain the highest standards of care across all our clubs.
Rod Cullen, Designated Safeguarding Lead, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to have achieved the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts. It’s a reflection of the hard work and commitment of everyone involved in Kyushin Ryu Ju Jitsu. Our members and their families can be confident that we take their safety and wellbeing seriously, while keeping our training friendly, enjoyable and inclusive.”
